MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) — Matthew Dellavedova is returning from the NBA to reunite with Melbourne United in Australia’s National Basketball League.The 32-year-old guard agreed Wednesday to a two-year deal with United. A 2016 NBA Championship winner with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Dellavedova helped United to a first-place regular season finish in 2021-22 — his only previous season in the NBL.He then headed back to the NBA and took a role as veteran leader with the Sacramento Kings, who ended a 16-year playoff drought before being eliminated by the Golden State Warriors.Dellavedova is also hoping to earn a spot on the Australian men’s national team — the Boomers — for the FIBA World Cup starting in August and next year’s Paris Olympics.“I want to come back and win a championship here. RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. (AP) — Marlene Hagge-Vossler, a Hall of Fame player and the last surviving founder of the LPGA Tour, died Tuesday morning, her family said. She was 89.Hagge-Vossler won 26 times on the LPGA Tour, including the 1952 LPGA Championship, and she was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2002.She was 15-year-old Marlene Bauer when she joined 12 other women — including her older sister, Alice Bauer — in signing incorporation papers in 1950 for the fledgling LPGA Tour. (KDVR) – FOX31 is hearing from a number of viewers who have said their basements flooded during last week's deluge.One of those homes belongs to Jodie Mooney, who lives in the Mission Viejo subdivision not far from the Cherry Creek Reservoir in Aurora.At her home, FOX31 found fans that have been running constantly to dry out the basement.Mooney said the basement began to flood late last week when the rain just wouldn’t stop.“When I first noticed, it was about 4 a.m., and I woke up. DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Police Department launched its new Before the Blue and Beyond the Badge program for its latest recruits. The goal of the program is to help them build relationships and learn about the community before they start patrolling. Denver has had about five times more rainfall than the rainy city of Seattle this May.Denver has had measurable rain at Denver International Airport for the last six days straight, while in Seattle, only a small amount of light rain fell at the airport Monday evening. A tractor-trailer was involved in a crash on the entrance ramp to the Palmetto Expressway from the Dolphin Expressway.On Tuesday morning, Florida Highway Patrol officers, along with firefighters, responded to the scene to assess the damage to the 18-wheeler that was seen hanging over the rail.According to FHP, the tractor-trailer failed to negotiate the curve properly, causing it to lose control and collide with the guardrail.Aerial video footage from 7Skyforce of the scene also showed the damage to the trailer as it hung on the guardrail of the ramp. Minor injuries were reported. As a result of the crash, crews had the ramp closed for a considerable amount of time as they clean up debris and remove the container.
